Why I created this blog?

​

For Starters:  I have one mission in mind and that is to help you in any way I can when it comes to health, fitness, or mindset. Helping you is truly my passion, so please enjoy my website!

​

Secondly: I would not have created this blog if I thought it would be a waste of your time. What you will find is strongly rooted in the hopes that maybe something I say or do sparks something in you that might change your life. Even in the slightest way. The blogs are based on my life and everything that I have learned and think up until this point.

​

Lastly: I have struggled when it comes to health and fitness in the past and it is my mission to help you by sharing what I have learned in the process. Eating disorders and lack of self-love or self-awareness are major issues that I have personally dealt with. It is my goal to address ways that can lead to healing and becoming the best version of yourself.

My Story:

My name is Ashley Paradise and I'm a 22 year old from Michigan. I am currently obsessed with living life to its fullest. I have a passion for experimenting with foods and workouts and really finding ways to enhance the quality my life and everyone's around me. My belief is that life is meant to be fun and enjoyable, food should be seen as a wonderful source of energy, and workouts should be a celebration for what of body can do!

Right now I have a vegan lifestyle. Have I always been vegan? No. But it is a way of life that gives me the most energy and makes me the best version of myself possible. That is truly what is important, finding the foods that make you thrive. Whether it is vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, carnivorous, you should eat in a way that makes you feel your best and that you enjoy. Maybe you don't even know the difference between those, and that's completely okay too! Even though I am vegan, I look at everything from multiple stand points so I see the benefits and side effects of each way of eating. I do not believe that everyone should be vegan, it is simply not for everyone. But it is for some people, including me! Although I strongly believe that everyone owes it to themselves to give it a try and let their bodies be the judge. That being said, I will include a range of meals on my website and offer ways to make it adjustable for every diet type.

When I originally went vegan I was struggling with an eating disorder. Since then I have been extremely underweight, overweight, and extremely fit. None of that happened as a result of being vegan, no. It is a disorder that I am still consciously working on. Right now I am learning how to love my body and myself to become the healthiest happiest version that I can be. Food is no longer a fear but instead a wonderful source of nourishment. I offer my every day experience with this process for you in my vlogs on my YouTube channel. You will get to see foods that are healthy and delicious, challenging workouts usually for booty gains lets be real, and a look into my life which will hopefully help you in some way shape or form. It is important to realize that we are all learning and growing, nobody has it perfect. Everything we experience is an opportunity for growth.

On top of my passion to experiment with different workouts, "diets," foods, etc. I have always had a passion to understand how the brain works. I've always wondered what makes people different, what drives them, what makes us think the way we do. I love reading about the mind and our purpose. More importantly I have a knack for being able to analyze a person and understand how they see the world; because we all see the world differently. There is one thing that never changes no matter who we are... and that is that we can achieve and do anything we want, no matter who we are as long as we are willing to put in the work for it and most importantly... Believe we can do it.
